Longleat is delighted to announce the introduction of a new caravan rally site for 2009. “40 Acres” will hold up to 250 units and is located amidst the beautiful Wiltshire countryside only a stone’s throw from Longleat House and attractions.
To accompany this exciting new addition Longleat are launching a two-tier pricing system including a price freeze and a fantastic special offer for rallies of 300 ‘unit nights’ and above.
- Up to 100 units (Lake Site/Fishing Fields/Lodge/Green Tubs)
£12.50 (inc VAT) per unit per night subject to a minimum site fee of £500.00 (inc VAT).
- Up to 250 units (40 Acres)
£8.50 (inc VAT) per unit per night subject to a minimum site fee of £500.00 (inc VAT).

For rallies of 300 ‘unit nights’ and above, 40 Acres is available at the special price of £6.50 (inc VAT) per unit per night subject to a minimum site fee of £500.00 (inc VAT).
The minimum fee will be charged as a non-refundable deposit with payment due a minimum of one month prior to the rally taking place. All additional unit charges will be payable on the weekend of the caravan rally itself. Water supply and toilet disposal points are available for your use. All costs quoted are for caravans only and we regret that we are unable to accept tents on site.
Please note that access to the Caravan Club facilities located at Longleat is strictly prohibited.

Enjoy the multitude of family attractions with the Longleat Passport Ticket which allows access into all 11 of the Longleat attractions… from lions to tigers and monkeys to giraffe, discover many of the world’s most majestic and endangered creatures as they roam within the magnificent Safari Park. Get lost in the Longleat Hedge Maze, travel on the Safari Boats, get close to the animals in Pets Corner and marvel at the historic treasures and heirlooms within Longleat House... there is plenty to keep you entertained whilst here on site.
Ralliers will be applicable for the Longleat Passport Ticket at a reduced rate (2009 prices are £15.80 adult; £10.20 child; £11.60 senior). Tickets can be purchased from Pets Corner Kiosk between 11am and 4pm on any day during your stay. Visit Longleat in a day or come back at any time before the end of the season to see those attractions previously missed… the choice is yours! Each attraction may be visited only once.
Dogs
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst within the Estate. Free kennels are available when visiting the Safari Park.
Shopping
Warminster and Frome are the nearest towns offering entertainment, shopping and places to eat. Both offer supermarkets with Morrison’s and Iceland in Warminster and Sainsbury’s and Asda in Frome. Bath and Salisbury meanwhile offer both high street clothes shops and specialist shops such as jewellers.

Please note that you are welcome to organise a “Rally” BBQ during your visit (subject to a risk assessment) but individual BBQ’s are STRICTLY prohibited.
Longleat Estate offers a number of good pubs including the Bath Arms in Horningsham (01985-844308), the Horse & Groom at East Woodlands (01373-462802) and the Royal Oak in Corsley (01373-832238).
Nearby Areas of Interest
Just beyond Warminster is the town of Westbury, where the famous chalk White Horse is situated. Other places worth visiting in the area include Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Stonehenge, Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Stourhead and Salisbury.
