As Ruth Charles, Head Guide of Longleat House explains "I have always felt that once I see a door saying 'Private', then I really want to know what's behind it! These tours give visitors a rare chance to peek in cupboards and behind closed doors. It's like being given the keys to a stately home and just being told to have a good nose around. And this is precisely what we do!"

This package is only available in the out-of-season months. Ideal for those looking for something a bit special to do when everywhere else is closed!

Itinerary

11am:  Your guide will greet you at the Front Door of Longleat House Escorted VIP tour of the House including the corridors, cupboards and bedrooms not normally open to the public Includes visit to Lord Bath's private apartments to view some of his famous and fabulous murals. 1pm: Lunch in the Cellars Cafe  Lady Bath's Shop open for browsing and shopping! 10% discount on purchases for all VIP guests. 3.30pm: Approximate departure time

Groups- For minimum group size 15, maximum group size 120
Monday-Thursday from 1st November - 9th December 2010
Monday-Thursday from 2nd March - 8th April 2011

Don’t worry, you won’t miss out. The dates below have been allocated for individuals and smaller groups with the following menu options:

• Monday 22nd November 2010 -Option A Menu only
• Monday 29th November 2010 – Option B Menu only
• Wednesday 8th December 2010- Option A Menu only
• Monday 13th December 2011 – Option C Menu only
• Wednesday 16th March 2011 – Option B Menu only
• Tuesday 22nd March 2011– Option C Menu only

Costs

• Option A Menu –£30 per person
• Option B Menu- £25 per person
• Option C Menu- £20 per person
